JINAN-- Chinese Dou Zecheng rose to the second place on the third day of the Asia-Pacific Amateur Golf Championship held in Longkou city, East China's Shandong province on Saturday when South Korea's Lee Chang-woo led with a 2-under 211.
Lee Chang-woo who tied for first in second day shot 2-under 69 today at 2-under 211."The winner has the chance to play the Masters. It is great motivation for me. I am eager to win." said Lee.
Dou Zecheng made four birdies and shot 2-under 69 today. "Tomorrow' s game is extremely important for me, I will try not to think too much and fight for the champion." Dou said.
The Chinese defending champion Guan Tianlang rose to the fifth, shooting a 3-over 216.
The Asia-Pacific amateur championship offers the winner an invitation to the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. The champion and runner(s)-up earn spots in International Final Qualifying (IFQ) for The Open Championship.
