Denmark and Poland split Weihai triathlon titles

JINAN - Denmark and Poland took the men's and women's titles respectively in Weihai long distance triathlon world series here on Sunday.
Rasmus Petraeus from Denmark won the men's triathlon in four hours, six minutes and 36.28 seconds. Graham O'Grandy and Hamish Hammond, both from New Zealand, finished second and third respectively.
The women's title went to Ewa Bugdol from Poland in 4:36:23.83. Koll Caroline of South Africa got the silver, while Chinese Wang Dan was third.
The long distance triathlon, twice of the Olympic distance, has a total race distance of 103 km. The triathletes have to finish 3 km of swimming, 80 km of cycling and 20 km of running.
