The Chinese social media platform, also known as WeChat, is the fifth most popular smart phone app in the world and boasts over 260m users every month.
It functions include text and voice messaging, photo/video sharing and location-based tools.
Arsenal’s Weixin fans will enjoy exclusive Chinese language content from our in-house reporter, including daily news, updates, real-time scores, bite-size videos and VIP promotions. We’ll also set up specific opportunities where users can ask questions to Arsenal players using Weixin’s voice messaging system.
To register for the Arsenal Official Weixin, simply scan the QR code.
This latest move is part of an on-going commitment to digital media in China, including a dedicated website along with Weibo accounts on the Tencent and Sina platforms.
