Manu Ginobili, who turns 36 this month, said he will remain with the San Antonio Spurs for the next two seasons. The Argentine tweeted Wednesday that he 's staying with the team he has helped win three NBA titles, ensuring that the Spurs' core trio, along with Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, remains intact.
"Thrilled to announce that as I always hoped, I'm gonna stay with the @Spurs for two more years," he wrote.
Details of the contract weren't available, but Ginobili is likely to take a pay cut from the $14.1 million he made last season. Duncan did the same thing last summer, going from $21.2 million to $9.6 million.
