The Brazilian arrived two summers ago in a deal worth around $100 million from AC Milan, but physical problems, including knee and pelvic injuries, mean that Real Madrid fans have rarely seen the best of him. Indeed this season he has made just 13 appearances in the La Liga and was very much a fringe player in the club's Champions League campaign.

The past weeks have been filled with rumors that Kaka could be on his way to Chelsea in the summer. The rumors were fuelled by messages from his mother on Twitter that the family would be going to London, but with Manchester City also interested in him, Kaka said he had no intention of leaving Madrid

"The truth is that I am at Madrid and I want to be at Madrid. My mother will go to a congress to pray in London, but I want to make it clear that I want to play for Real Madrid next season. I am not thinking about returning to Brazil or going to play in the Premier League or in Italy, my aim is to have a great season with Real Madrid," said Kaka at an event organized by sneaker manufacturers Adidas.

Kaka also discussed his two years at the club, saying he had enjoyed his time.

"We have a good squad, we have had a good season and I want to continue. I still have a good relationship with Milan and I am proud to have played there, but I want to be here and win titles with Madrid. I am satisfied with the season, we have won the Cup, got to the semifinals of the Champions League and we have finished second in the La Liga," continued the Brazilian.

Kaka also said that Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson had tried to sign him while he was playing for Milan, while the praised the performances of new Madrid signing Nuri Sahin from Borussia Dortmund.
