Zoo installs TV to cheer panda up

Panda Sijia watches TV at Yunnan Wild Animal Park, April 14, 2014. Sijia is one of the three pandas placed in foster care at Yunnan Wild Animal Park after the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 - when Wolong National Natural Reserve in Sichuan province was damaged seriously. Sijia is the only panda left behind in Yunnan province after the other two were sent back to Sichuan. The panda has started to behave abnormally recently and shows signs of depression. Workers at the park installed many play facilities to cheer it up. They even installed a TV and also placed a stuffed panda as its new neighbor. [Photo by Wang Yuheng/Asianewsphoto]
