A video shows a guide threatening tourists to buy certain items by brandishing a knife in Beijing. The police must investigate, says a comment in the Beijing News (excerpts below).
"I'll kill you!" Not the type of language normally associated with a tour guide but a recent video shows the guide threatening tourists to buy certain items in a shop he apparently has links to.
The tourism authority in the capital said it was investigating. But that's obviously not enough. This is criminal behavior so the police must investigate.
There have been numerous complaints against unscrupulous tour guides. The police must act to end this type of behavior.
