Ticket prices must be set after consultation

Some tourist sites are being disingenuous regarding "bargain" ticket prices, says an article in Southern Metropolis Daily (excerpts below).

It is clearly stipulated, in relevant laws and regulations, that a public hearing should be established when setting a government-guided ticket price for public facilities.

On too many occasions ticket prices have been set arbitrarily.

Facing unscrupulous management practices at some scenic spots, silence equals connivance. To fundamentally curb dishonest money making, strong and effective intervention and supervision from watchdogs are needed.
