Arranging holidays can result in severe headaches, says an article in Beijing News (excerpts below).
As soon as the State Council released the holiday schedule for 2013, the Internet was rife with advice on how best to utilize them.
Different sectors have different schedules, peak times vary, so arranging holidays to suit everyone was never an option.
Perhaps, it might be better if companies asked their own workers what arrangements would suit them.
No holiday system will ever be perfect but possibly the imperfections could be ironed out more.
