Thirty years of 'opening-up' has changed China in a big way that has astonished the world. That 30 years saw China transformed from being a poor and weak nation to one that is strong and progressing steadfastly into a modern developing society. She has uplifted hundreds of millions of citizens from poverty to reasonably good and comfortable living. All these achievements don't come easy without tears, blood and sweat.
