Obama's response is predictable

After the bloody gunshots in Denver on July 20, the whole world is waiting for US President Barack Obama's decision.
Yet the Obama administration's response is not expected to dig into the issue of gun control.
He has enough reasons to avoid that.
First, he cannot afford to lose voters from several states that are "friendly with guns".
Second, Democrat attitudes are always vague on gun control because they have lost elections before because they were either too soft or too hard.
In the 2008 election, Obama did not even mention the problem of gun control at all.
The president's main concern is that mainstream public opinion in the US still opposes gun control. Neither Obama nor Republican presidential-hopeful Mitt Romney will face up to the problem. So the public need not wait for their responses, because their actions are almost predictable and predetermined.
