Combined efforts needed
After living in China for three years, I have seen China undergo changes that have benefited millions of people with better living conditions, infrastructure, facilities, pensions and medical benefits, among other things.
But China has a huge challenge to face, particularly as a result of the economic slowdown in the US and eurozone. The global recession is affecting its export growth and other countries are introducing more and more protectionist measures against Chinese goods.
However, as the country is focused on development, innovation and education, with the support of its large population who are dedicated, work-oriented, disciplined and willing to learn, there is nothing to be unduly concerned about, as it is only a matter of time before these things are resolved. Certainly no one can ignore this great country.
