The China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation recently opened its charity event at the Juyongguan Great Wall in Beijing. More than 1,000 people from 270 teams will participate in a hike from Juyongguan on Sept 13 to raise funds for children in poverty-stricken areas. They will receive training and tips for fund raising, and have to work with team members to complete designated routes together. People can apply through the website Shanxingzhe.fupin.org.cn.
