How do you cool down in this steamy summer? China Daily gives you some useful ideas.
'Slight heat", which fell on July 7 this year, is the 11th solar term on China's traditional lunar calendar, which means the end of the rainy season for cities along the Yangtze River and the start of sizzling summer days. Meanwhile, rain has made its way to the north and northeast of China. Just as expected, heat waves have scorched areas south of the Yangtze River and southern China. Temperatures climb above 35 C in such regions, motivating people and even animals to look for creative ways to cool down.
