Cartoon festival
The monthlong Beijing Cartoon Festival was recently unveiled. The festival features hybrids of comics and travel books, with various cartoon figures showcasing the wonders of numerous travel destinations across the globe.

Children concert
An orchestrated, multi-media children's concert in Forbidden City Concert Hall to celebrate the summer holiday will feature the music of Tom and Jerry, Lion King, and Angry Bird. It will also play segments from classics including Nutcracker.
