Afternoon tea is a relaxing ritual that reminds us to take some time off to enjoy a leisurely cup of tea and spend the time of day with a good friend or family.

The Pawn, a British gastro-pub housed inside a former pawnshop in Wan Chai is offering weekend Victorian afternoon tea for two to enjoy. A good variety of teas is available, including Darjeeling, Earl Grey, ginger and liquorice, apple cinnamon.
Pair that cuppa with a decent assortment of sweets and savories (pictured), especially a Stilton and walnut quiche with a flaky pastry crust and a creamy custard. Or try the Dragonball-like chocolate cupcake, which is rich and chocolaty and just plain fun.
The Pawn, 62 Johnston Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. 852-2866-3444.
