Sichuan province's capital Chengdu will host the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart in 2013, PATA's CEO Martin Craigs says.
Following Beijing and Hangzhou on the mainland, Chengdu is the first western China venue for the grand event, a premier Asia-Pacific travel trade show aimed at offering global tourism industry players an opportunity to showcase and source their latest products and services, and update the industry on tourism outlooks and trends.
The travel mart, which has taken place for 31 consecutive years, usually lures hundreds of international buyers and sellers.
