An international festival of micro films by college students will be held in Beijing in October.
The event is co-organized by Chinese Collegial Association for Visual Art, Chinese Cultural Information Association, New York Film Academy and several other organizations from China and abroad.
The festival, mainly consisting of contests for one-minute films, single-shot films, as well as documentaries and feature films of lengths within 10 minutes, will highlight the concept of "micro".
More than 800 works from more than 20 countries and regions will take part in the festival. Outstanding works are to be selected and recommended to a series of important international film events, such as the Cologne Film Festival in Germany.
