Gallery Week set for a good start

The First Beijing Gallery Week, to be held from Sept 22 to 28, will present more than 60 art exhibitions, a forum on the environment of art galleries, talks, charity activities and performances. Initiated by the Art Gallery Association Beijing, the event attempts to fully engage the public and prompt the development of art galleries.
Artron.net, the leading domestic art portal and co-organizer of the event, is holding six warm-up seminars, inviting celebrated gallery operators, art critics and curators to talk about how galleries can relate to artists with social advance.
