Confucius Institutes over the world will use 30 North, a documentary produced by CCTV, as part of its supplementary learning materials.
The documentary, dubbed in Chinese, leads viewers on a tour of China, along the 30th parallel north, which is a circle of latitude 30 degrees north of the Earth's equatorial plane.
In China, the line of latitude runs across the Yangtze River with culturally diversified areas such as the Tibet autonomous region and Zhejiang province.
With both Chinese and English subtitles, the documentary not only showcases nature's best, but also the lives of local people.
