About 20 Chinese and international artists and scholars will gather at Mount Huangshan in Anhui province for an intercultural dialogue from July 10-15.
The event is jointly organized by the State Council's Information Office, the State Tourism Administration, and the China Internet Information Center.
It features on-site sketches, on-site ink and oil paintings, and academic discussions on topics such as the differences between Chinese and Western landscape paintings, aesthetics, and the relations between tradition and modernity.
Following the intercultural dialogue, organizers will create an academic report, a documentary, and an art exhibition.
All texts, photos, and videos about the event will be available at http://art.china.cn later this month.
