JDB Group and the China Youth Development Foundation co-founded an education aid program on June 5. The group donated 10 million yuan ($1.57 million) to help 2,000 students pay university tuition.
Wang Chunhui, who received assistance from the fund last year, says: "I will join the group's educational assistance activity during summer vacation to teach students in remote mountainous areas. I also want to help others."
Since 2001, the Hong Kong-based beverage enterprise has been dedicated to charity. It has donated more than 40 million yuan and helped nearly 8,000 students in university.
