International Best Cook Contest in Jiangsu

The International Best Cook Contest, organized by Lee Kum Kee, kicked off on May 26 in Huaxi village, East China’s Jiangsu province.
The three-day contest, which landed in China for the first time, attracted 48 groups of competitors from 31 countries including Canada, Russia and Singapore, and another 150 individual contestants.
The jury members included 13 renowned Chinese cooks from America, Japan, South Korea and Singapore.
Lee Kum Kee is a Chinese professional manufacturer of seasonings with a 124-year history. "It is our great honor to hold this international event and bring the cooks of Chinese dishes home and abroad together to communicate with each other," said Charlie Lee (Lee Wai-chung), chairman of the company.
