The Beijing Fine Art Academy's gallery will stage a group show of ink flowers-and-birds masterpieces to greet the Spring Festival.
On display are 80 works by more than 20 ink artists active in Beijing in the early 20th century. They include Qi Baishi, Yu Fei'an and Chen Shizeng - known as representative members of the Peking Painting School, which formed in Beijing in the 1920s and '30s when Chinese art communities were faced with an influx of art theories and genres from the West, academy director Wang Mingming says.
9 am to 5 pm, until Feb 13. Museum of the Beijing Fine Art Academy, 1 Liulitun Beili, Chaoyang district. 010-6507-1285
