Taiwan's Fanier adds fun to burgers in Beijing

Hearty burgers, heavy fajitas and deep fried chips are the main features, which are fortunately well balanced by frisky fruit and vegetable salads and pungent tropical fruit teas.
Its signature classic burger – The Fantastic (69yuan/$11) – comes with fat French fries on a wooden board and is highlighted by the well-seasoned 100 percent beef party with a good blend of lean and fat.
Compared with the Taiwan market, customers in Beijing prefer stronger taste in food, that's what Huang quickly learnt. The Taiwanese F&B veteran is working with his team to create six new sauces to suit the different tastes of customers in the Chinese mainland.
"Maybe we will soon have a mala (numbing spicy) sauce", he said.
