Chips and salsa, nachos and guacamole have traditionally fed thousands of World Cup fans. Store-bought guacamole are thin, too tart and too watered down. They are often a lurid shade of green as well. Make your own in just a few minutes, buy a huge bag of tacos or nacho chips and you are all set for the final matches in front of the TV.
Ingredients: 2 firm, but ripe avocados 2-3 cherry tomatoes, diced 1-2 cloves garlic, minced 1 red chili, diced (optional) 1 red shallot, or quarter of an onion, finely diced Half a lemon 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or creamy dressing Salt to taste
