At the recent JIN Magazine Restaurant and Hotel Awards, the winner for best Chinese restaurant went to the Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel, and the best Japanese restaurant winner was Hotel Nikko Tianjin.
The 2nd Restaurant and Hotel Awards, hosted by JIN Magazine and JINWAN Media Group was held at the Westin Hotel in Tianjin on Dec 11. Many foreign-related hotels and international schools in Tianjin also won awards.
JIN Magazine also gave out awards in other categories for best steak, best Italian restaurant, and most comfortable hotel.
"The selection was made from our readers’ votes to find out their feelings on the food and accommodations at ’s hotels," says Tian Yilin, president of JINWAN Periodical General, "and JIN Magazine is committed to servicing foreigners in Tianjin."
Tian also added, "Tianjin is a city with a high degree of openness and a strong investment environment, and I hope the selections will promote the service and development of the hotels in Tianjin."
However, the quality of service and food will only grow from here. "We will further improve our good quality and dining environment," says Yang, Director of the Chinese restaurant at the Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel, “and strictly control our stock channels and continue to provide better service for our Chinese and foreign customers."
