Flo invites Michelin star chef for anniversary celebration

A Michelin star chef will be cooking up treats to mark the 13th?anniversary in China of Brasseries Flo (Beijing). The mouth-watering dishes featuring delicacies from the Perigord region in France, prepared by Daniel Chambon, will be available up to Sunday.
Chambon was born in 1949 in the village of Lachapelle Auzac in Quercy-Perigord, a region famous for truffles (the “black diamonds” of French cuisine), foie gras (duck liver), magret de canard (duck steak) and walnuts.
His mother and mother-in-law helped him hone his skills with the knowledge of the region’s cuisine.
“I gained from my mother the passion for cuisine, fresh products and original taste which I built with her day by day by helping her in the kitchen during my childhood”.
Only natural products of the highest quality are used in his kitchen.
Menu highlights at Flo include Pot au feu “Rougie” fois gras and confit de canard, French century egg Perigord style, mille-feuille of beef with truffle sauce.
The degustation menu costs 888 yuan ($144)for 6 courses.
