Summer is the best time to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables, which can clear heat, prevent heatstroke and hydrate the body. It is also a time to cut down on oily and deep-fried food. It is with such awareness that Camilla Chinese Cuisine Restaurant has decided to introduce a healthy summer menu, cooked in Chaozhou and Shantou styles. The restaurant's chefs use mostly steaming, cold-assorting, poaching and marinating to prepare the dishes, so that the food tastes delectable and nurtures the body. Star chef Guo Fen also prepares seasonal produce, such as shrimp and starch noodle pot, boiled fish with black fungus and gourd, and fried beef with assorted mushrooms. The dishes try to keep to the original flavor of ingredients.
