The Four Seasons Hotel Beijing has finally opened after much anticipation, as much for the fame of the brand as for the quality of its food and beverage outlets.

Italian restaurant Mio and Chinese restaurant Cai Yi Xuan are both impressive with dazzling decor (pictured). Mio's fascinating lighting system helps create a wonderland as setting for great Italian food, wine, and music. Chef Marco Calenzo has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants throughout Europe and takes pride in the restaurant's own ham and cheese banks.
There is also a well-stocked cellar of Italian wines, which a sommelier will guide you through. Start the meal with a selection of ham, cheese and bread paired with top quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Black truffle risotto, black cod and ravioli stuffed with pumpkin were only some of the highlights of a media preview. We can imagine Mio will probably take its place soon among Beijing's favorite Italian eateries.
Mio, 3/F, Four Seasons Hotel, 48 Liangmaqiao Lu, Chaoyang district, Beijing. 010-5695-8858.
