Despite the tough competition, he believes that Chinese companies and Chinese products will enhance their competitive edge with the improvement and innovation of technology.
"I can say that many people in Central and Eastern European countries are fond of Chinese products, and they have the intention to buy them," he said.
He suggested Chinese companies in Central and Eastern Europe intensity promotions to expand their market share.
"Chinese companies have to let more people in Central and Eastern Europe know about them and know the advantages of Chinese products. The core is advertising," he added.
He also suggested that China and Central and Eastern European countries hold more trade forums and conferences. These can provide opportunities for economic cooperation.
Banicioiu was in Beijing for the Young Political Leaders Forum of China and Central and Eastern European Countries.
