BEIJING - China is ready to increase cooperation with Russia under the framework of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson's Office said on Thursday.
Russia's accession to the WTO will enhance representation of the organization and inject new vitality to the multiple trade system, the office said. It added that China is willing to share experiences with Russia.
China and Russia have had a good negotiation on market access, said the office, adding China will enhance exchanges and cooperation with Russia in economic and trade fields to promote bilateral trade to a new level.
Russia officially joined the WTO on Wednesday, becoming the last major economy to accede to the Geneva-based organization.
