Vice premier to visit Russia, Turkmenistan

BEIJING - Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan will visit Russia from November 21-24 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Zhukov and Igor Sechin.
On November 24-25, Wang will visit Turkmenistan at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Hojamuhammedov and attend the first meeting of the China-Turkmenistan cooperation committee.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei made the announcement in Beijing Thursday at a regular press conference.
During his visit to Russia, Wang will attend the 14th meeting of the Joint Commission for the Regular Meetings of Heads of Government of China and Russia and meet with China-Russia Energy Negotiation representatives.
He will also accompany Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to the 15th regular meeting of the prime ministers of China and Russia.
