Album highlights creativity of photographers from both sides of the Straits
China Daily has published an album that celebrates the work of photographers as they capture the beauty of Taiwan.
Two hundred photos from 10,000 considered appear in One Hundred Photographers' Lenses on Taiwan.
Wang Wenlan, assistant editor-in-chief of China Daily and a renowned photographer himself, says that unlike many pictorial albums that cater to tourists, the new book does not offer just postcard-like pictures of scenery.
"You had to have people to be eligible for consideration."
The best pictures are those that portray daily life in Taiwan, he says.
