Global Mobile Internet Conference, Beijing

GMIC Beijing 2013 will gather more than 10,000 mobile Internet industry professionals this year to set the stage for the next phase of mobile innovation and development. Under the theme "Transforming mobile Internet", the event will host executives, developers, entrepreneurs and investors behind the integration of mobile Internet into sales and marketing channels, healthcare, transportation, agriculture, energy and social development.

Dive China 2013, Guangzhou

With 400 booths spread over an area of 8,000 square meters, Dive China 2013 will be double the size of last year. There will also be an underwater photography competition, dive films, forums and lectures during the fair.

Biosimilars Asia 2013, Shanghai

As the next wave of biosimilars comes on stream, the complexities of competing with next generation biologics and production will create both winners and losers. Canton Fair 2013 (Spring)-The 113th China Import and Export Fair, Guangzhou

Ranking among the top in the world in terms of scale, Canton Fair is an international trade event with a long history. The exhibition space covers more than 1 million square meters, housing 24,000 exhibitors.

The 2nd China Human Resources Supplier Exhibition and Forum, Tianjin

A forum aimed at facilitating communication between member companies of the Tianjin HR Club and the European Union Chamber of Commerce. The event will focus on learning managerial expertise from HR suppliers, discovering and selecting good HR suppliers and helping member companies save money, improve efficiency and reduce risks. About 100 selected suppliers will participate in the meeting.

The Polish-Canadian pianist Katarzyna Musical has performed both as a soloist and chamber musician throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Glory by Ballet du Grand Theater de Geneve, Beijing

A span of two centuries separates George Frideric Handel from Gabriel Urbain Faure and begs the question: is the time lapse between these two composers an obstacle to use their works as the basis of a dance evening? Maazel's The Ring Without Words: China NCPA Concert Hall Orchestra, Beijing

A unique synthesis of orchestral music from Wagner's Ring Cycle. Arranged by Lorin Maazel, the work was designed to be free flowing and chronological, beginning with the first note of Rheingold and finishing with the last chord of Goetterdaemmerung. All the music is Wagner's, and even the transitional material is drawn from the original scores. To convey the breadth and scope of the entire work, Maazel also excerpted material from each opera in proportion to the whole cycle.
