Notable work: "Mr. Vampire" (1985), "Way of the Dragon" (1972), TV series "Vampire Expert" (1995)
As a talented and graceful martial artist, Lam Ching Ying was best known for playing the stoic Taoist priest in "Mr. Vampire" (1985). Actually, since 1971 Lam had been invited to be the action choreographer for Bruce Lee's action films, including "Way of the Dragon" (1972), "Fist of Fury" (1972), and "Enter the Dragon" (1973). After Lee's death, Lam joined Sammo Hung's stunt team, and became one of the most renowned stuntmen and martial artist in Hong Kong. In 1997, Lam died of liver cancer.
