Qu Wanting's name is definitely on the top of the list of the best newcomers in the country's music scene in 2012. The Chinese-born, Canadian-educated singer-songwriter, released her debut album, Everything in the World, in early 2012. She composed all the lyrics and music herself. As the first Chinese artiste to be signed to the Canadian music label, Nettwerk, Qu won wide popularity with her Chinese and English song-writing talent. Qu is now busy getting ready to launch her Asian tour, starting with her concert in Beijing.
7:30 pm, Dec 21. Mastercard Center, 69, Fuxing Road, Haidian district, Beijing. 400-610-3721.
