The 18-year-old 'As Long As You Love Me' singer - who was dumped by his 20-year-old actress girlfriend last week because they had major trust issues - is planning to do everything he can to get back together with her.
A source close to the Canadian popstar told gossip website TMZ.com that Justin isn't upset and thinks their break-up is simply a minor blip as they have split up numerous times in the past and gotten back together.
The source also dismissed rumours Justin has already moved on with 19-year-old Hungarian model Barbara Palvin despite Selena posting a picture of him with the model on her twitter.
The pair - who met when Justin performed at the Victoria's Secret show in the New York City on Wednesday (07.11.12) - enjoyed a trip to see the 'Lion King' on Broadway on Thursday but insiders insist that Justin is not romancing her or anyone else.
Friends of the couple previously revealed that trust was a major factor in their break-up.
One insider said: "She broke up with him about a week ago. With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It's not easy, but the relationship needed to end."
The break-up came as a surprise as Justin recently revealed he was proud to be with Selena.
He said: "I never make [Selena] separate from me because I don't want her to ever feel like I'm ashamed of her. Because I feel like a lot of guys do that, especially in the business. They don't want to be seen with the girl, so they'll make them ride in separate cars. They'll do that 'get away' stuff. [Selena and I] get away together."
