Kim Kardashian enjoys 'best birthday'

Kim Kardashian was dreading turning 32 yesterday (21.10.12) before being whisked away to Rome.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star revealed she was not looking forward to her birthday celebrations and planned on having a low-key day prior to being taken on a surprise trip to Italy by her boyfriend Kanye West amid rumours he is preparing to propose.

She recently told E! News: "I'm not so into a 32nd birthday. Doesn't do it for me, so I don't really care."

But Kim has now changed her mind and told her fans on twitter she is enjoying the "best birthday ever" in Italy, where she arrived on Friday (19.10.12) amid reports Kanye will pop the question there even though her divorce from estranged husband Kris Humphries has not yet been finalised.

The couple have been spotted enjoying romantic dinner dates in the historic capital. They enjoyed a meal at famous restaurant Harry's Bar and onlookers say they couldn't keep their eyes off each other.

Kim previously admitted she was looking forward to being surprised with gifts from her boyfriend of seven months, whom she presented a supped-up £460,000($736,918) luxury Lamborghini for his birthday in June.

She said: "See the thing is, my boyfriend, he has such good taste that I don't need to [tell him]."

Kim recently revealed she couldn't imagine herself with anyone other than Kanye because as well as being her lover, he is also her best friend.

Kim said: "It's so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you're going through. Being with someone I've known for so many years is comforting. He's been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely. It's good to be aware that he definitely doesn't want anything from me too, because he understands the business."
