The 45-year-old actress has admitted she gets nervous being photographed in revealing haute couture dresses at events and is especially insecure about her stomach, even though her body confidence has grown over time.
Nicole told the November issue of Harper's Bazaar: "I find standing and posing for photos very awkward. Red-carpet truths!"
"As you get older ... all of that other stuff becomes less important. Like, I've always had a little belly. I mean, now that I'm 45, they don't say, 'Oh, she's pregnant!' as much.
"But I've got skinny arms and legs, and then I've got a little belly."
'The Paperboy' actress - who has Sunday Rose, four, and 22-month-old Faith with country singer Keith Urban - said her young girls are already taking a keen interest in fashion and she plans to hand down her designer pieces to whichever daughter proves to be more of a trendsetter.
She revealed: "Whichever daughter loves clothes more will get dibs on those", before adding that Sunday is currently the biggest fashionista and likes to watch her mother trying on dresses in the mirror.
As for the iconic Dior dress the flame-haired beauty wore to the 1997 Oscars, Nicole said: "It's packed in a box with tissue paper, and it will be donated to a museum."
