Beyonce Knowles celebrated her 31st birthday with a Mediterranean cruise.
The 'Love on Top' singer set sail with husband Jay-Z and their eight-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy, from the South of France on September 4, 2012.
Beyonce was suitably dressed for sailing through the waters, wearing black shorts, a nautical-style navy V-neck sweater, and with her long hair flowing naturally.
Jay looked relaxed as he played with Blue, while the birthday girl sat back and enjoyed a glass of wine.
After a day at sea the couple then stopped for a birthday dinner at Michelangelo restaurant in Cap d'Antibes, France.
Meanwhile back home, friends and family of the singer signed a special card which was then published on her website.
Her mother, Tina Knowles, wrote: "God blessed me with one of the greatest gifts in my life on Sept. 4, 1981. Happy birthday."
Jay-Z's mother, Gloria Carter, also sent a message, writing: "B, You came into my life a sweet Southern girl. (LOL) You've blossomed into an amazing woman. I admire how you remain grounded and humble, and you haven't let success change the person that you are. Mama Carter (sic)."
