Adele insists she did not marry in secret.
The 'Someone Like You' hitmaker - who is currently pregnant - was believed to have married Simon Konecki after a person claiming to have been a guest at the nuptials spoke out saying she donned a traditional dress at the event in front of close friends and family.
However, Adele took to her twitter page to claim she is still unwed, writing: "I'm not married...Zzzzzz (sic)."
The 24-year-old singer was pictured wearing what looked like a wedding ring on her left hand while out and about in London in July, which also sparked speculation she had married in secret.
A source said: "Adele and Simon managed to keep the baby news a secret for so long that there are rumours they've already gotten married, too.
"She's an old-fashioned girl and can't wait to be part of a family unit. She just wants to focus on the baby and the man she loves."
Writing on her website in June, Adele confirmed her pregnancy, saying she wanted fans to hear the news directly from her.
She said: "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.
"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon. Yours always, Adele."
