Greek heavy metal band Firewind will kick off its China tour in Beijing on Aug 24 and Shanghai on Aug 25. Formed in 1998 by guitarist Gus G, who was just 18 years old and wanted to showcase his demo, Nocturnal Symphony, a full band was formed three years later and so far they have released seven studio albums and toured around the world. The current lineup features lead guitarist Gus G, bassist Petros Christodoulidis, keyboard player Bob Katsionis, vocalist Apollo Papathanasio and drummer Johan Nunez.
