Bunshinsaba will be the first horror film released on giant screens on the Chinese mainland. South Korean director Ahn Byeong-ki directed the film. It is not a remake of his 2004 picture although they share the same name.
Bunshinsaba is a game the characters in the film use to curse people they hate.
The film hit regular and DMAX screens, China’s answer to IMAX, on July 16.
Mainland actress Mei Ting leads the cast.
