The organizing committee of the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival has announced that 28 cinemas in the city have been assigned to screen the some 300 movies that will be shown during the event.
The SIFF Panorama is the largest screening of movies in Asia with hundreds of films from different countries and regions being shown.
This year the list includes Oscar Winners such as "The Artist," 3D versions of animated films including "The Lion King," and restored classics such as "Cleopatra."
Organizers are promising that this year audiences will enjoy the most diverse content since the festival first started in 1993.
Tickets for the screenings will go on sale as soon as the official schedule is released in the next few days.
The festival kicks off next Saturday June 16.
