Victoria Beckham to open first shop

Victoria Beckham plans to open her first shop in London.
The fashion designer is already working on getting her first ever standalone store in the English capital city and she also hopes to open retail units in Hong Kong.
She said: "People say, 'Am I going to have my own store?' I would love to.That's what I'm working on at the moment. It would probably be in London, but in the not-too-distant future maybe it will be Hong Kong. Who knows?"
The 38-year-old brunette is eager to take her business as far afield as possible and she sees Asia as a "very exciting" prospect, but the former Spice Girls singer is conscious about the dangers of expanding her fashion empire too quickly.
She explained: "What I do really is not just focus on the US or England."
"I mean there are a lot of territories that are really big for me and Asia is very exciting. I'm just scratching the surface at the moment. I want take baby steps with this business; I don't want to run before I can walk."
Victoria regards one of her career highlights as dressing TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey, and she was particularly excited about choosing the 58-year-old star's clothes because she is "curvaceous".
Speaking on CNN's 'Talk Asia', she added: "One of the most exciting points of my career was dressing Oprah, for example, a woman that...I mean I met Oprah and I didn't know whether I should shake her hand or curtsy. I mean literally, and the fact that I had the opportunity to dress Oprah, who is definitely a more curvaceous women. So that's what feels very exciting for me."
"It's the fact that I am designing dresses that are for women, whatever age and whatever shape and size."
