Kanye West has slammed the style of US men.
The outspoken musician recently took a drive through New York City and was disgusted by the clothes he saw its inhabitants wearing, leading to a twitter rant in which he blasted his pet hates.
He wrote: "Just driving through the city and I see a few thing I hate... I hate button up shits with hoodies, I hate hoodies with sport coats, I hate sport coats with button up shirts, jeans and dress shoes, I hate khaki trench coats with jeans and off brand work out sneakers , I Hate big ass striped scarves, I hate long ass sideburns with the line up RnB beard (sic)"
He added: "...all this is 5 blocks. Detest (sic)"
Kanye launched his own clothing line in October 2011 and named it DW after his late mother Donda - who passed away in November 2007 following complications from cosmetic surgery.
However, the rapper-turned-designer was universally slammed for his creations and while his follow up collection in March this year received some praise, he was blasted for not yet establishing his own identity.
The Daily Beast's Robin Givhan wrote on twitter: "Kanye West: a little Givenchy, a little Costume National. Will the real Kanye please stand up?"
