A Letter to My Wife, a tearjerker adapted from an article included in Chinese high school textbooks, is now in production.

A hundred years ago, 24-year-old Lin Juemin left a letter to his wife before he joined the revolution against the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Ten months after he was killed in the uprising, the Qing Dynasty was overthrown.

Actor Tong Dawei and actress Xu Qing will retell Lin's story on the big screen.
