Lady Gaga: 'I'm a cheap date'

Lady Gaga is a "cheap date".

The 'Edge of Glory' hitmaker - real name Stefani Germanotta - insists it doesn't cost men a lot to take her out because her ideal night would be to go tenpin bowling and have a few beers.

Speaking on the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' chat show, she said: "I am a good bowler pre-Budweiser (I love it) and then when the beers start loading up I become worse and worse and worse which is really great for whoever is taking me out because I'm a really cheap date."

Gaga chooses not to rent bowling shoes when she hits the alleys because she doesn't want any of her fans to her without heels on.

When asked if she dons the sportswear when playing, she replied: "Absolutely not. What if one of my fans walked in to the bowling alley and saw me in flats? I think they'd have a heart attack."

During her appearance, the five-time Grammy winner took part in a video segment where she launched a spoof baby clothing line, entitled 'Gaga Goo Goo babywear', but when asked if having kids is part of her future plans, the 'Born This Way' singer replied: "Some day. A long, long time from now."

The sketch featured babies wearing mini versions of some of the 25-year-old pop superstar's most outlandish dresses, such as the meat dress she wore at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
