Katy Perry and Russell Brand selling LA home

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have put their Los Angeles home up for sale for $3.395 million.

The married couple have decided to put the luxury property on the market after living there sporadically for just two years.

The 1922 Mediterranean-style house comes complete with four bedrooms, a three-car garage, swimming pool, huge living area, modern kitchen and incredible views of the city.

However, some features are not included in the sale such as a 25ft 'love tepee' which Russell had installed for him and his pop star wife, and a vintage pink refrigerator which Katy bought for the kitchen.

It is believed the couple have decided to sell the property because they want to make their New York apartment - which they purchased for $2.7 million last year - their main home.

The lovebirds are currently apart as Russell is shooting his next movie, the big screen version of acclaimed musical 'Rock of Ages', in Miami, while Katy is in New Zealand on the latest leg of her 'California Dreams' world tour.

Despite her hectic work schedule the 'Firework' singer recently revealed her husband is her "number one priority".

The 26-year-old pop star - who married the 35-year-old British comedian in India last October said: "My husband is my number one priority. We have an amazing relationship.

"It's important that I'm not always rushing around everywhere too much. I have to take the time to live life and have experiences."
